Hello everyone!
Well, turns out the nightmare of our EU distributor continues. Needless to say we are very disappointed in how things have gone with our EU fulfillment. We apologize a million times over and hope that this never happens again. Unfortunately this was pretty unforeseeable.
Our distributor in the EU has informed us that they lost a case of our games and did not fulfill to everyone on our list. We are working to identify which ones have not received their games and how to get them shipped out, however V games is not being completely unresponsive and will not reply to our emails. We have sent copies to another distributor and we are hoping that they may be able to help us out in fulfilling to the remaining number.
If you have not received your game, we would appreciate it if you could send an email to [email protected] and let us know. We are still hopeful that we can track down the information and get them sent out, but needless to say we have absolutely no trust in this fulfillment center anymore.
We apologize again and hope that you will receive your games soon.
The Wards of Stonefall
In the meantime we are shooting for the release of The Wards of Stonefall by the end of February! If you have not already please click the link to be notified when it goes live! It will be a digital fulfillment Print and Play so thank heavens we will not have to deal with any fulfillment centers!

Hello you wonderful people! Sorry for the silence. We didn't want to bombard all of you that already got your games with repeated updates about our woes in the EU.
FULFILLMENT IS FINISHED!!!!
If you haven't gotten your game then give it just another week, but we have been assured that all outstanding games are on their way! We apologize for the delay in the EU. I honestly don't know how this happened and we will be seeking out a different fulfillment partner for that region in the future.
Other than that wonderful Christmas Miracle, we have 2 announcements that we think you will like!
1) Wards of Stonefall landing page is up and ready for you to subscribe to follow the project! We currently only have about 80 people following the page and we are hoping to get into the 1000 range before launching. Here is the link. If you wouldn't mind sharing it wherever possible that would mean a lot to us.
Here's a little bit about the game: As we were making Snack Time there were a lot of people around the world that just couldn't afford the outrageous shipping rates and big box fees. With so many games getting a little bloated with stuff that really isn't needed, we decided to swing in the other direction just for fun. The Wards of Stonefall is an Epic Narrative Roll and Write Campaign that takes you through the fall of Stonefall. It is a Tower Defense style Roll and Write that is delivered via a full color PDF and printable sheets. The game works on a rotating narrative booklet so you never play the same game twice. Experience the game's many twists and turns as you try to survive the fall of this once magical fortress. It can play up to 6 players and will cost less than $10 to back. The best part: NO FULFILLMENT WAITING! It will be available the day the campaign ends for you to print and play this epic adventure.
REVIEWERS NEEDED - We are still looking for reviewers for the game. If you would like to be a reviewer we just ask that you publish some video content that remains (no stories or things that disappear). It could be to Youtube, Instagram, Tik Tok, whatever. We request you do a video after your first play that we can link to on the page (if it is positive), one post on launch day, and one on the last day of the campaign. 2) We designed a free game for the holidays (don't get too excited. It is simple, but charming)

Here at Backfire games we wanted to express our gratitude to the gaming community so we put together a very simple roll and writegame that you can play with the whole family. This is a link that you can distribute freely and share with friends, family, and social media. We designed it so that it can be played with ages 4+ and any number of players; and if you have younger kids than 4, it doubles as a coloring book page to keep the little ones entertained. All you need is a printer and some d6 dice.
We really do appreciate you and hope you have a wonderful Holiday Season. We feel blessed to have games that have brought us together not only as a company but as friends and family and we hope this free game does that for you too this holiday season.
EU Delays and Appologies

Hello Fantastic Backers,
First of all, we are so sorry for the delays to the EU. We are extremely disappointed in the amount of communication we have received and the very slow fulfillment rate. Needless to say we will be seeking out a different distribution partner in the future. EU is the last region to receive their games and we expect it to be any day now. Names and addresses have been supplied and we are just waiting for the communication that they have been fulfilled.
In the meantime we are very excited to announce that our next project The Wards of Stonefall will have free shipping worldwide...and will be shipped out the day after the campaign ends...I mean, that's because the game is a digital delivery... but still, exciting right?!
Heres the story: When we did Snack Time we were very sad that we had created a game that wasn't feasible to distribute to some due to location. We quickly set out to make a game that had all the epic storytelling of a meaty adventure game like Gloomhaven, but that could be delivered by email. The Wards of Stonefall was born! Early 2023 The Wards of Stonefall will launch its first chapter! The game will cost less than $10 and will include three different acts that you play through! That is 3 games for under $10. The entire story is comprised of 5 planned chapters each with at least 3 acts. This means by the end of the story arc there will be 15 different ways to play The Wards of Stonefall. The story is randomized to a certain extent so it is also completely replayable!
If you are at all interested we would appreciate you going to this link and following the project. We appreciate your support as continue to provide the world with games that bring us together...but sometimes that backfires.

FULFILLMENT UPDATE
USA
Most of these have been sent out and you should be receiving the packages soon! There are a portion of the US shipments that will take a little longer to arrive due to the fulfillment location.
USA LOCAL PICKUP
Local Pickup will occur at Game Grid in Lehi, UT on Friday, October 14th from 12-2pm. If you can't make it to this, please contact us to arrange for another pickup time or location.
UK
All UK backer copies have been shipped from the factory to our UK fulfillment location. They should arrive at that location within the next month, and from there will have additional transit time to their final backer locations.
EU
All EU backer copies have been shipped from the factory to our EU fulfillment location. They should arrive at that location within the next few days, and from there will have additional transit time to their final backer locations.
ASIA & REST OF THE WORLD
All of these copies have been sent directly to backers from the factory.

Great news everyone! the games are here and some have already been delivered! Across the world fulfillment centers are receiving games and we got all of North America's games delivered to us this last week so we are in full fulfillment mode! Check out this video of them in our garage. The kids were pretty intrigued and thought they were all different games (they know me too well).
What you need to do:
1.) Double check your pledge and make sure we are delivering to the right address. We will not be responsible for any undeliverable packages and you may need to pay for shipping again to receive your game if it can't be delivered. We wanted to let you know about a fun opportunity launching tomorrow! Our lead game designer McKay Anderson had a design fever the other day and decided to design a fun Roll and Write set of games based around Divination and Witches for the upcoming holiday season! It is a completely digital print and play so there will be no shipping and it will be delivered immediately after the campaign ends in time for Halloween (it will be a short campaign too so don't wait too long)!
The game isn't dark or creepy in any way, in fact it tries to celebrate our attempts to make sense of all the information the universe has and wants us to know. It is a Celebration of Divination in all of its forms.
