If you have not filled out your Backerkit survey you are in danger of your game being donated to charity. The manager will close at the end of February and will not be able to be reopened.
Hello and welcome to another update for Snack Time! Time flies and we have a lot of stuff to show you! We have almost all of the additional character art developed as well as the Baby Monster Expansion pieces! We are just putting finishing touches on the box art as well as the rules so that we will be ready to push go as soon as China is back from New Years. If you would like to volunteer to proofread the rules please let us know at [email protected].

We as so happy with what Bodie has done with the art on this game and he continues to knock it out of the park. Here is a sneak peek at some of the baby monsters and the additional characters that will be added to the game!

Rules
The rules are in their final couple drafts and we would love to get your opinions so that we they can be the easiest to follow and the most helpful they can be. If you feel like you have a good eye for rule design or English grammar, please reach out to us at [email protected] or here on Kickstarter and we will get you a digital copy of the rulebook!

Hello Everyone! It has been a whirlwind of a last month for us. There is a lot going on but all of it is very exciting!
1) The Backer Kit surveys are out!
If you have not seen yours come in yet then there is a problem and we need to start digging. Here are some things you can do: First check your spam and junk mail folders as it is not uncommon for Backer Kit emails to be caught by filters. Second: double check that you are using the right email. It should go to the email that is associated with your kickstarter account.
If you cannot find the email and you know what email it should have gone to please visit the following link and input your email and it should recover your survey for you!

2) The Baby Monsters are being created!
Here is a sneak peak at our first baby monster that is being designed for the expansion. Does it look like an iconic monster that we all know and love? hm...unclear.

BackerKit surveys are coming!

Hello!
Soon, you’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.
You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!
After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts.
If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page.
If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact us at [email protected]

Wow.
You all are seriously amazing. Whether you pledged $1 to get access to the pledge manager later, or $200 to get your likeness illustrated into the game, you are amazing. Bringing something like this to light is a lot of work and it is so much fun to be part of that process with you. We have already heard some great feedback and taken some amazing suggestions to heart that will definitely be part of the final product. We appreciate the passion and enthusiasm that all of you have shown.
Join the Sewers Tier
The survey to collect your personal description and perhaps a picture will go out very soon. We can't stress this enough, but please fill it out quickly. Our illustrator is poised and ready to start working on these images but we need your likeness before we can make that move. You will have approximately 2 weeks to get us those images before we will be forced to replace it with something else.
Help us make decisions
Over the next several weeks there are some design decisions that need to be made. Colors for dice, different box upgrades, and what the cute little baby monsters will look like! We want to involve you all in these decisions but we can't do all of that through Kickstarter. Hello Everybody!
With the campaign at just 9 days to go we wanted to say thank you to everyone! We have a couple of exciting updates that we wanted to share with you as well as some housekeeping items so please read the following update when you have time!
Nearing the Final Stretch Goal
According to Kicktraq we are trending to just barely breach our $20,000.00 goal and unlock our baby monsters mini expansion! Here's the thing, if we were to all share on our social media platforms I think we would be right there! We are super excited and can't wait to see if we can get there! Tell your friends and family and let's knock this out of the park!
Join the Sewers (Elite) Tier Backers -
We have had a lot of great questions about this tier and what it will be like to be illustrated into the game. In light of that we prepared a sample. Of course we would never compromise the game's amazing artwork based on adding new characters, but we want to also make sure that the final illustration really feels like you made it into the game! Here is the level of likeness we are feeling like we can achieve.
This is Matt. The description given to the illustrator was as follows: This character is a thin, medium height, asian male. He has on a flat-brimmed hat (skater style) with a pink walrus on it (shown in the image) but feel free to make it a very vague reference to that actual logo. He is an artist, so something like a pencil behind the ear might be nice. He should also be carrying a takeout style container (not chinese food though).
Above you can see the likeness that came from it with no needed revisions from our amazing illustrator. This is the level of likeness that is possible to achieve and the kind of representation you can expect. Keeping in mind that these characters aren't meant to be flattering by any means.
The survey to collect some of the backer information will go out at the end of the campaign so be thinking about the best way to identify you as a pedestrian in Snack Time!
Artwork Update
Through our rigorous testing over the last month, and the addition of the Rat Snacks module, we decided there were some necessary changes to the score pad. I think it will overall provide clarity and cohesion to the cards while preserving the fun sense of imagination. This artwork will of course be available to download on our website as soon as it is finalized and sent to the factory for manufacturing.
Pax Unplugged!
For our domestic friends, we will be at PAX Unplugged in Philadelphia this weekend! We will not have a booth, but we will be roaming the floors, teaching some games over in the learn and play section on Friday Afternoon, and probably competing in a Magic Tournament or two!
